It uses an up and down seesaw motion through cyclical switching at both ends of the electrodes to produce multi-dimensional inter-electrode DC currents. Some have suggested that SDC is AC superimposed on DC. Polarity reversal is found in AC, but SDC does not have a reversal -- just a change in direction. "You only need a cyclical change of origin and destination to get AC EM effects," says John T.
